Established in early 2008, IC Africa Private Equity Limited (IC Africa) is a Pan-African investment firm that originates, structures and invests in management-led buyouts, strategic minority equity investments, equity private placements, consolidations and buildups, and growth capital financings across the African continent. While open to opportunities wherever they can be found, IC Africa focuses on select high growth or anchor sectors including Financial Services, Real Estate, Media, Telecoms and Agriculture.

IC Africa held the first close of its flagship USD 75 million Africa Growth and Convergence Fund in January 2008. The fund focuses on investments in select markets including Ghana, Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone and The Gambia. Our investment philosophy involves investing in companies with strong management teams that can take advantage of the growing convergence across African markets and making a tangible human and economic difference in the emerging economies of sub-Saharan Africa by deploying capital in a focused and objective manner.
